The Impromptus Yverdonnois are a series of musical performances filmed at iconic locations in Yverdon-les-Bains, launched by Fribourg-based jazz pianist Florian Favre in collaboration with the Fullframe Project.
Concept: to offer a poetic and musical perspective on Yverdon-les-Bains by pairing Florian Favre’s piano and diverse synth with various guest artists in natural or urban settings.
Guest artists: Fred Heisler, Camille Santacroce, Guillaume Wührmann, and Fabian Tharin.
locations: La Plage, Place de la Forge, Les Moulins, and La Grande Cariçaie.
Immersion: A system of QR codes installed at the filming locations allows visitors to relive the performances while strolling through the area.

On the 21st of january 2022, i'll release Idantitâ on Traumton records, a new solo album where i revisit the music of my folklore. The process has been a lot of fun and i can't wait to share the result with you.

Shot in 4K with a RED movie camera and drones over the lake, this project, carried out in collaboration with the Cultural Service of the State of Fribourg and the support of Fribourgissima - Image Fribourg, combines the talent of a renowned pianist, architects, directors and other technicians and craftsmen!
Two months ago Néology was born, a new project pushing the boundaries beetween Jazz and Hip-Hop featuring musicians from Switzerland, France, and US. What a trip!
I had such a wonderful time sharing the stage with these amazing musicians and beautiful human beings Manu Hagmann, Steve Lands, Simon Girard, Idan Morim and our sound magician Jean-claude Pache. You guys feel like family!

New Project - Florian Favre - Néology
In this new project, Florian Favre achieve the result of his inspirations collected in America in a new project where he turns into a rapper-pianist and pushes the limits of the interaction between text and music. Accompanied by his trio and musicians he has met in New York, New Orleans and Lyon, he offers a mix of groove, jazz and hip-hop, an energetic bomb where poetry and irony mix together, while providing an irresistible desire to dance.

C'est désormais une tradition au Cosmojazz, au Tour - Charamillon c'est le jour des pianistes ! Les premiers programmés étaient Malcom Braff et Tigran Hamasyan, mais en 2012 la météo n'avait pas permis le transport par hélico du piano. Ensuite il y a eu Bojan Z, Shaï Maestro, Iro Rantala, Dan Tepfer, Yaron Herman...
Aujourd'hui c'est au tour de Florian Favre de jouer ce piano "tombé" du ciel. Il ne nous faudra que quelques notes pour être happé - puis sans cesse transporté par sa musique car aucune de ses compositions ne se ressemblent. Bien sûr on retrouve chez celles-ci une grande mobilité harmonique et rythmique mais elle sont différentes au niveau des thèmes, de leurs enchaînements, de leurs intentions.
Ces compositions impressionnantes - comme « Million miles away » et son écriture d’un subtil dialogue entre piano et contrebasse, et le surprenant « Satellite » - sont servies par trois musiciens qui le sont tout autant ! Souples, amples, ils ne jouent jamais avec ostentation, toujours au service de la musique, ce qui rend leur jeu vraiment éclatant.
Un concert phare... et nos oreilles éblouies, le jazz habitait toute la montagne".

Florian Favre trio won the "B jazz international competition"
We won the 1st prize of the B Jazz international competition in Belgium!
In addition of that, i won the prize for the best soloist, Manu won the prize for the best bass player, and we won the prize for the best live interpretation of a piece we had to play Psyched!!
We are so happy and speechless!!
